About this item

A bread bin in glazed stoneware with a small vent at the back, which is the part that matters: bread keeps for three or four days instead of two, crust stays crust. The lid is a slab of bamboo that comes off and serves as a cutting board.

Big enough for a large loaf and a bag of rolls. The sand-coloured glaze is warmer in daylight than in a photograph.

    Nice glaze, good size. Four because the box arrived with one corner crushed; the bin was fine inside thanks to the foam, but it gave me a fright.
